It’s been a while.
Imagine you were blind. And if you’re already blind, imagine you were deaf.
How does that change your reality? Do you think this changes who you are as a person?
What if you were born this way, can you wonder how you would be without those memories you didn’t see or those conversations you never had?
Life is such a brittle thing. We are here now and we’ll be gone at any moment. We stand on the ground but we’ll be under it, with it standing on top of us — coming full circle.
Did you ever think about how everything needs balance?
Listen, I’m struggling with this question and I need you to help me answer it, or at least try.
If there isn’t a God but everything needs balance and we’re breathing in the living world, then there has to be a non-living world, right?
Then does it mean the concept of heaven and hell is right? And God does exist?
I know, I’m confused too, but it’s been on my mind this entire day and I cannot shake it off.
You see I’ve been a lifetime agnostic leaning towards a no God reality, but the more I observe the world, the more I realize there has to be a balance between every single thing.
I promise I didn’t mean to confuse you, I’m just looking for answers. Does anyone really have any answers?
See, that’s what young kids don’t understand.
We all don’t know what’s really going on.
No matter how old you get, the vision is always blurry and the truth always changes.
But over time we get the confidence to either just accept our fate or stick with a belief that gives us happiness.
I honestly respect both.
But this still doesn’t answer my question, I don’t think I’ll ever get an answer.
But I do know I want my kids to ask this question one day, wouldn’t that be sweet?
Hey, if you liked this story, give me a follow. Seriously, if you don’t, I’ll be really upset with you and you won’t be invited to my super big super secret party for…stuff. Oh, and you cannot bring your goat again.
